Hi Gary I live in Egan La. About a 154 mi's west of ya. Welcome to the site. I was wondering when someone else from La. was going to come along. I picked up an 1100f around '08. Love the bike. Are you home or are you over seas now. Be safe, Doug. |

Hey thanks for the welcome guys. Yes I'm still over seas. I bought the bike last week when was in town on leave. I only got to ride it once before I left haha. It's parked in my buddies garage in Slidell. He also use to work at a cycle shop on old Spanish trial in Slidell....his name is jeric....I'm pretty sure his wife is getting pissed at me because I keep ordering parts and sending sending them to his house. Anyway the bike runs and rides fine buy needs alot of work. The guy I bought it from streched the swing arm like 6 inches and lowered it. |

Hey roger that guys....We are taking it to the enemy everyday!! Our platoon leader is a very sharp guy his moto is a good offense is a good defense so we keep taking it to them and never let up.... But my deployment is wrapping up I should be state side by april just in time to start working on the bike and riding a little.... As far as pics go I have some in my email but not sure home to post them. So if y'all have any advice there that would be greAt...... I can describe the bike to yall though....the guy I bought it from streched the swing arm like six inches and bolted struts In where the shocks would go he also lowered the front 2 inches sooo it's pretty low... I was gonna keep it like that but to get rear shocks it was $800 dollars sooooo I was bought A stock swing arm and it's enroute to my buddies house now! |
