I almost called glacier just to get you involved. I got the crap scared out of me when we stopped at the glacier on the way to Kenai from Anchorage, and it cracked as they do occasionally, and I ran like a little girl. I am glad no one had a video camera.
Well I am out I think I would have to go to Portland to get a building over like five stories.

Thanks James. You are way ahead of us in points already. I wanted to do the airport/plane thing outside the military base or even at Lake Hood but it has been raining here all summer. This is the first nice day in quite awhile. Likewise on the water fall and the road curve signs. Just too nasty to ride out to get the photos. I figured I better get this one while I still can - lol.

Thats almost to easy.I coldda got a picture of thatfrom my old house driveway like Tatt said. But I moved three miles away and the trees are in the way now. Wish i'd have seen this one sooner than bed time.Hell there's a hotel a couple blocks from here that tall, Nick40

Yah, I wanted to make it easy. Go get-em.

I wish I knew how many points I actually had. Very Happy
Bummer on the weather. I bet you made up for it on the quad though. We have had a pretty good summer so far, a couple bad days hear and there.
I think we are going to have some real interesting marks soon. Great idea on pipedope's part to get it started here on the site.

I'm going to try and keep score on the original post since it seems a few members are interested in winning jack shit. Maybe the competition aspect will get more folks involved. I just hope it doesn't make people reluctant to play because they're too far behind.

I'm glad you guys are enjoying it. The other one i was playing has been stagnant for a while since someone called "the projects" as a mark. I think we've done really well so far calling interesting and achievable marks and I hope it continues that way.

Did we get a shipping quote for "jack shit" yet? Laughing
Thanks again, great fun. I went on two rides that were a blast, and I would not have other wise went on.

If I win, I would like a Priority shipment of the Jack-Shit. I am always in a hurry to get more Jack-Shit. In fact I'm leaving right now to get some Jack-Shit from the store.

I forgot about the riding into the library thing to make less boring. Maybe it is because I do not find the boring.

Two Tallest Buildings in Joliet, IL. Took the pics from the same parking lot, didn't even move the bike.

OK lets get out of the City...

Next Mark a Domestic Farm Animal.
Bonus: A less conventional farm animal IE: Buffalo, Emu, Llama, Ostrich

Harrah's River front Casino and Hotel (10 Stories)

Image

And Some Office or Apartment Building, 13 stories.

Very cool thread, really enjoy the pics, hope to get a chance to play soon. Good to see Phils bike!

Need to get a pic of the F (or maybe both) in front of the CV-22 ( I know it's a previous mark, but it would still be a cool pic!)

A couple hour ride produced these pics.
Llama and a few goats in the back

Some cow fueling up

Local horses ass

Herd of cows

The next mark is a piece of heavy construction equipment a bulldozer, loader, or backhoe for example. Extra points if you are on the piece of equipment.

...should have known you would beat me to it. i rode by two llama farms, but no llamas to be seen. i found some horses and cows though, but the photos suck. however, i did see several "winding road ahead" signs along the way. Cool

i guess i'll just go update the score. i should probably also re-title the thread to "beat James to the next mark."

Sorry, did you enjoy the ride? I am sure you did, so we both won. My favorite shot is of the herd of dairy cows, it shows how beautiful my area is. I live about 14 miles from that pasture up the valley along the river into the forest. It is a great ride. I figure I win whether I am first or not, because I get to ride around this area.

You know what sucks about this thread is, Nearly EVERY and I mean EVERY mark is within 10 miles of me and my 1100 doesn't have a tag on it. DAMN Laughing Laughing

Tattoo, ride your Harley. Or you could even ride your schwinn cruiser since it doesn't say motorcycle.

Rule #1. All pics MUST include a bike you own with the 'mark'. If your bike isn't in the picture it does NOT count.

So Illinois is doing Construction from Indiana to Iowa, easy enough to find something right. Wrong, I'm not sure where they hide this stuff. Just when I'm ready to quit and head to church, there they are in a heavy equipment mechanics shop yard.

I think every Dozer operator should have to where a Shoei!!

Next Mark:

A sporting Event in Progress
Bonus point: A Professional Sporting Event, Minors count (And not just a picture of the Stadium, I wanna See players)

A non-professional soccer game is going on in the field behind the bike. That was a close to the game as I could get.

Zoomed in for proof:

The next mark is 2 pieces of antique farm equipment displayed at the end of someone's driveway.

New Rule:
You have a week to get the mark otherwise the mark's caller can and he gets double credit. This is to prevent this thread from dying. Agreed?

I like the new rule.

Do both pieces of equipment have to be on the same driveway? Or can we go get two separate pieces/separate driveways?

I like the idea for some kind of limit, to keep things moving. I could have gotten that mark today. I will leave it alone for a while, so others can shoot for it.

James, no sandbagging (a golf term for playing below your talent)! If you can get it, go for it, this is cool stuff. I just hope for a mark that I can get tomorrow, so I can participate, too!
