Hi Guys,

Since it is taking forever to get my CB900 on the road (problem with getting a title), I got a new bike to ride a little: Suzuki SV650S:

Definitively not as fun as the CB but cool enough to ride in the alps without a problem. Good thing is the weight.
I know... but be sure that the CB will be hitting the road as soon as it can.

Well....... when you decide that the CB is WAAAYYYY better than the sv650. Let me know I'd be willing to take it off your hands

by the way, let me know if you need help getting the title to the CB, I have gotten them before, it's not that hard just kinda costly

Well, I am definitively preferring the CB engine then the SV. Sounds and torque are much better on the CB!

If you have contacts for getting a road-legal certificate for France, I am very interested!
The problem here is that I need to get a certificate that says that the bike is road legal in France. This is something that Honda France is supposed to be doing but average time for getting a certificate is about 1 year!!!
So I decided to purchase a titled french frame, modify it and move everything in it. This is unless I find an opportunity to get a certificate before.

Sounds like a good ol VIN swap would be easier...

It will be nice to get your 900 back on the road, but there's no sense in suffering until then. Enjoy the new wheels!

Yup, that's exactely the purpose. I went for a ride in the mountains on sunday...jeeeezzzz, roads are soooo cool, plenty of turns, huge landscape. Next time I bring my camera and post some pictures.
And the bike was clearly good in the mountains, I doubt my CB would have been as good with up-hill U-turns at 2,500rpm.

CowTown, for the VIN exchange, thought about it but don't feel comfortable with that. I'd rather have the correct titled frame.

Looking forward to the next ride Smile

Hey Sly, can you update your location so I know where to visit? Southern France is on my list of places to go.

Here you go, updated.
I am in Grenbole, France, just at the foot of the alps.
Anyone that wants to visit is welcomed!

Cheers,

Sylvain
