Looky what I picked up for 500 bones today. Bought it from a landlord that took it in for rent and wanted to turn it as fast as he could.
Yeah, I know it's a 750 but you can get in as much trouble on one of these as you can on a 1100. This bike is generally very good condition, looks like it's been garage kept. All body parts are clean as could be and the seat is 100%. Inside the gas tank looks better than new. 900 shocks, Lockhart oil cooler and some kind of chin fairing, and a nice Kerker pipe. Fires right up and runs well, only 11K miles. Cool rack and backrest that should bring some $$ on ebay. Brand new battery. Looks like there might be some Dyna coils tucked up under there.

Only problems I find are....floats stuck so gas pours out when not running, smokes a little (valve seals). Tires are about due, and it has a open circuit some where that drains the battery when the key is shut off.

Very nice score, man. You've done well. It looks to be in very nice shape. After you take care of a few issues, it will be perfect.

You said you think the floats are stuck - does gas pour out of the overflow tubes when the bike is running? If the floats are stuck in the down position, then gas is going to pour out when you run the bike. Easy fix, anyway. Pull them out, clean everything thoroughly, and reassemble with new float bowl o-rings and a few other parts. The jets and all internals should be fine.

Good luck!

Hey guys,
Looks like a 900C shaft to chain conversion.
Only 1 of the 4 bolts that hold the cover on line up with the engine cases.
