That sure was a lot fun to watch. With the missed shifts early on i was half expecting to hear some crunching metal but it didn't skip a beat.
In the last 30 sec. or so on the pass down the straight it seemed to start a bit of a headshake...no biggie to the rider. |

13 to 14,000 (and way more on those missed shifts) RPM on a regular basis.
I didn't think the heavy internals of these engines would spin up that high and/or fast, certainly not without turning itself into a grenade.
Do you know anything about the motor build-up? |

The tach was not working past 8000 rpm (according to the owner of the bike) |
