Hi forum,
I found a set of euro comstar boomerang rims from a cx650 euro bike.That bike was a shaft drive with both rims being 18 inch.Can I mount them on my cb1100f???????

No.... But if you're really good at machining and fabricating, then maybe. You must somehow replace the shaft driven flange with a chain drive hub. Way to hard for me. |

do you have a picture of the back wheel? if they are the same as the US version CX500/650 turbo, they might be worth their weight in gold. i was looking for a set for my 900 Custom a few years back. the turbo wheels will fit the 900C, Goldwing, and the shaft drive CX500/650 Custom. |

no pic but they are" the silver boomerang 18" rims that come stock on the turbo 650 euro bikes.not sure if the us bikes had the same rims.if you google 83 honda 650 turbo euro ,you can see the rims.i bought them thinking they would fit my 1100f but i was wrong.any idea what a set of these are worth? |

You could probably get it done something like this guy did it, but it seems like more than you're really looking to do. Of course he wanted a sprocket driven spoke hub to mate up with a shaft drive center, but the cutting and swapping idea is relevant.

That's a 900C shaft drive center with a spoke hub, never was a Honda option.
It's laced up to a Harley rim, but I can't ride in a straight line enough to use that tire though  |
