Should make the CB Custom guys ecstatic!. Not my cup o tea though. I wonder if that engine will swap into our frames? Or could put a different set of fenders (with the duck-tail spoilers) and side covers on it to make it more sporty.

It seems that a sawsall, grinder and welder is all that any of us would need to make anything work |

I'm with you on that.
If they come I'll try and buy one.
On a side note, I was listening to some radio station and they were commenting on the fact that some many people (motorcyclist) were buying these plastic bikes nowadays and striping all that crap off and modifing them that there may actually be market in the U.S. for naked bikes. Imagine that. |

Be nice if that pipe would fit other than that my 83 is more of a head turner then that one will ever be. |

That certainly got my interest.

Dropped the handlebars, reangled the mirrors, chopped a little off the rear fender, blacked the tank and wheels.
I'd buy this in a second.*

I remember reading about this in Cycle World.
I think they said it's not coming state side just yet. Always one of the complaints of the testers.
Europe gets all the cool stuff first. All we get state side are choppers and cruisers. |

I won't buy any new emissions bike. EPA regs for 2010 means you can't even replace your exhaust unless the new one has full EPA certification, which prices most small aftermarkets out of business.
Replacing carbs with non stock ones on 1980 and up bikes is illegal, jesse james was fined something like a quarter mill not that long ago for modifying emissions on bikes, and the new stuff is even worse. One day it'll be emissions inspections for bikes (california keeps trying to pass inspections for 2000 and newer as well as noise limits). |

If they build it there will be plenty sitting around because they will overproject the demand, then as soon as the bike catches on they'll cancel it. |

It is not exactly what I might have in mind, but it sure is the best looking bike Honda has come up with in some time. |

I love the fact that Honda is making them in RED and Black colors. They finally realized how slow the Blue Is!
I like it a little and will wait to see one in person before I make any big decisions. |

That bike is a cross between a Nighthawk and a Custom and they can keep it along with the rest of the "Cruisers".
Why don't they just bring these over from Japan?
This is waaaaaaay better imo:

Dave it may be a test of the market.
If they can sell "naked" bikes in the first round, maybe they will bring more on line |
