Saw the doctor today. Damn, I feel like a chick--I have a "monthly visit", & it generally involves pain (at least no bloodshed, though).
Good news: the X-rays show more bone regeneration than I had all of last year. Great progress for less than 2 months after the last surgery/bone graft.
No prognosis yet on future progress; I think doc is a little hesitant after how poorly things went last year, but I'm encouraged by how it's going so far. I hope I can get back to work pretty soon--disability pay is bringing in less than my bills take out, but I'm making it okay; I keep some in the bank in case of emergency situations, & this last year certainly counts! I should still be able to make the (non-? post-?) Hoot this year. I may be on a single crutch or a cane, but I'll be there barring any unforeseen disasters (that's the only kind there are, anyway).
Shalom, all. I'll let you know when I know any more. TB |

Glad to hear that it was mostly good news at the doctor, so many times they only bring bad news. Heal well Budd! |

Great to hear, Budd.
Maybe a career as an x-ray technician is in your future. |

Thanks, everybody. I appreciate all the folks who're thinking of me.
Smurdoch, not this boy. X-ray repair tech, I can do; I'm nowhere near nice enough for them to let me around people, just trons. TB |

Been away for a bit, TB and thought of how you may be doing a number of times. Funny how the first time I log on and there's an update from you.
Glad it is positive, bigtime!!! |
