That is not too bad for a 11 day 3700 mile trip. Glad to hear that your trip went well and made it safely, also I think the bike deserves an oil change after that. Very Happy

And to think, all this on a bike older than the driver. GREAT job Yuth. You are an official F Model Iron Butt.

hi. When I went to Reno, Nevada, I met with a guy who I know from this forum. He is really nice to me and help me to check, fix, do maintenance on my bike.
I also changed oil at the time.
and he noticed the master cylinder of my bike is so bad and needed to change.
Is anybody have a master cylinder that can be sold?
I was gonna order it but it was pretty expensive!!

thanx

Can it be rebuilt? http://partsnmore.com has a rebuild kit for $18. The reservoir is $27.

Yuth's master cylinder is beyond a simple rebuild. It looks like it has spent many New York winters outside, this thing is hosed!! He really does need a servicable used front master cylinder to make the bike safe.

Great photos, Yuth. Now you need to go to profiles and update your location. Good luck with school. What are you majoring in?

Ah, I just want to tell people who felt you were old because of my story...
You know what? before this trip, I was looking at some web of whom used to drive motorcycle across the US.
I saw a one very interesting story. He is japanese old guy 79 years old.
In that age, he tried to make his dream come true. the dream is driveing across the US by motorcycle.
He took airplane to the San Francisco, bought a motorcycle, and made a trip!
Then He made it! He had many trouble while his trip but after that trip both he and his motorcycle was fine.
I was impressed with that story and that made me feel like I can do it.

That's all I wanted to tell.

To Larry:
I major in Computer Science. I was interested in the around here because here is Sillicon Valley.
