So last night after work I head over to my second job at the local hobby shop. I park the f right out front of the store in the fire lane as usual. The guys decided they were hungry so me and a bud hop in his car and head out for some Taco Bell. We were gone 20 minutes TOPS. As we pull back into the plaza I notice something just looks funny about the bike. Turns out someone STOLE my freaking left side cover!!!! I ALWAYS make sure that they're on nice and tight and I KNOW it was there when we left. So someone around here must have some huge balls to pull this crap in a busy shopping plaza with the bike 5 feet from the door of the store. |

Are you sure it didn't fall off? I had that happen once, rode back and found it several hours later.
If it was stolen, that sucks. Hope the guy crashes. |

100% sure it didn't fall off. I definitely remember seeing it as we walked over to the car on the way to the Bell. |

Thanks Tattoo!! I just picked them up for $25. They looked like they were in pretty good shape with just a few surface scratches. The bike's getting a repaint and powdercoat job this winter anyhow. Now I just need to finally decide on a color scheme. |

Scum like that just make me sick, what a chicken shit thing to do
As the covers get rare and e-bay becomes a good place to sell i may go for a bit of security on my new covers, maybe a tie rap from the edge of the cover to the frame, or lock wire some how? at leased it would slow them down or make them leave if they dont just pop off.

Just replace the dried out, shirvled up o-rings and they won't come off unless you yank them off. |

Ok, I'll bite. But isn't molasses darn near black? And how about the oil out of my diesel truck? Black, and really slow. I think it is a light thing that makes it move slower through the air.
Silver and blue on the other hand, same color as lightning! |
