As some of you know I have been having some problems with my bike after a detailing mission....
Well after charging the battery again....I fired her up but she ran like crap!!!! So I decided to start pulling the carbs. Well since the battery was charged I figured I'd drain the carbs the lazy way...turn off gas and turn it over a few times...Well I had just taken the air filter out when I turned it over and she fired right up like a champ...???? WTF I thought and shut it down real quick...turned the gas on and once again fired it up and she ran fine.....So I let it warm up a little..and realized I should probably put the air filter back in....So I grabbed the filter and started to put it in when I realized..........I had pulled it out UPSIDE DOWN....obviously when I was putting the bike back together on detail day I had shoved the air filter in upside down while talking to my friend who had stopped by.....So she is running great and I am taking her to bike night tonite!!!!! I guess you SHOULD pay attention to the little things.....Please wipe up any fluids you spit up while reading this!!! |

Flipping the bike upside down to fix the problem would have been questionable. Your solution was pure genius!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Usually it comes to me in the middle of the night that I screwed somethig up. |
