3 weeks ago Rodney called me to tell me his bike caught fire the day before he was bringing it to me for a new chain & sprockets. What a drag!!!
Anyways after installing new goodies to make his bike run again, Rodney just left my house on his bike.
I had to install new carbs, an air box, clutch, throttle and choke cables, a wiring harness, a solenoid, a right side throttle switch and numerous other doo dads to make her work again.
Needless to say, Rodney is smiling a big fat smile this morning. |

Hey Ray, you should create a new TV reality show called "Flip That Bike". I'd watch! Great job Ray! |

Thank Randy, we like it.
Poor Rodney got as far as Hollywood when the bike died because his charging system was bad.
He failed to tell me about dropping the bike on the alternator when it was on fire and I had to replace the whole charging system. The rotor, stator and the reg/rec had to go, they were all crisp.
Anyways, Rodney just left my house again today and this time he has a good charging system putting 14.4 to the battery at 3000 rpm.
There is a show called "Flip that bike"? When and what channel? |

If that is Rodney smiling a big happy smile, I would hate to see him when he is pissed off... |

Nah, you guys got it all wrong.
I think his expression is more like:
"Hey World I'm Too Cool to Smile" "Got my Black Leather Biker Jacket and my awesome Motorcycle".
I see much pride inthe photo!! Man and Machine photos must be dignified.....
I see the same exact thing in this picture I had taken last year and other such posing shots that are posted.
I imagine his expression was different when the bike was all burned up and worries about getting it fixed was the primary thought.
Ray, you came thorugh and turned that worry into something much better. Good on ya man!
