Dang! I was going to buy a brand new bike this year, now I don't know what to do. I was going to buy a Suzuki Bandit, but I really like 1100, although.........they are going to more than likely price it out of my league. |

2009 is the 1st year that all motorcycles sold in the US are supposed to be liquid cooled to satisfy the EPA.
How is this air cooled bike going to sell in the US? |

Misinformation is everywhere. They will be sold here. Just people who know not of what they speak "Talking out the side of their neck." |

Lookin' at that thing, I'd still stick with the Bandit, new 1100F available or not. I'll pass on the Honda, but that's just me.

all bikes are supposed to be liquid cooled? I find that extremely hard to believe....
There are WAY too many popular bikes that are air cooled.... like 80% of harleys. |

Too much chrome, too little tail, and likely too much MSRP for its performance. It almost looks odd in stock form with a flat collector and the 4-1 exhaust. |

That is what everone in class said at the time but, I read it in black & white off my teachers paperwork just like he made everyone do.
It may have just been a classroom scare tactic or something, who knows?
My other post was more a question than a statement because an awful lot of time has come to pass since I heard that anyways. |

It`s nice to see the name come out but its not an 1100F. The title might say it but not the bike. I see very little spirit of the 1100F in that bike.
Maybe 1100C might be more appropriate.
I`m not trying to knock it, I`m sure its faster and handles better then my 1100 but they should have done the sides and tail better, optional chin faring would have been nice too.
Maybe the special edition will have the proper colors. |

Does anybody have any links or resources that say something about this? I'm having a hard time finding any info, although I do seem to recall reading a magazine that said something similar.
That aside, I would very much like to know the MSRP on the new F. |

I always looked at this as not the 2000-ish version of the CB1100F but as the spiritual successor to a combo of the '69 CB750, the '75 CB400F, and the '83 CB1100F. |

Can't wait for a F'er here to purchase one and put '83 body parts on it..that would be a site..
K all you graphic people....lets see some examples...
course would you purchase a...I don't know, what's one going for 10g's..anyway. Grab one of these and start taking it apart to put rearsets, a 1/4 fairing.....etc?!?! certainly wouldn't do a F3 conversion...would you? |

I still want to know what`s in the background(foreground?) of the pics of the prototype CB1100R. There are 2 bikes, I think one is the CB1300SF, but the other looks strangely like a VF(R). |

I think it looks like a SECA 750 ...
The CB1000 from 95-96 was much better deserving of the title CB1100F ... more true to the heritage not the "plastic age". |

I personally have very little of interest in this new so-called "F", but that one John, does show some improvement.
Still would rather see production of the CB1000R. That's 1000R, not 1100R. |
