If you all only knew how good this bike was, you would build one for yourselves. Oh wait, some of you have and already know how good a Pro-Link CB-F rides.
I have really outdone myself with this bike, I did not know that a CB-F could handle or ride so nice. She has yet to exceed 4000 rpm but the power is so there. I took it easy with her yesterday because it was like getting on a motorcycle for the 1st time all over again but, she made the few twisties I took her through seem like they were a straight road.
by the time I got home, I was just getting used to her.
The velocity stacks make the FCRs worth the investment, that throttle is crisp. I have to wait until she is broken in all the way and had at least one oil change before I wail on her but, I can feel that she is tight and friggin powerful.
The F-3 forks running Sonic Spring .95 kg springs & 10wt Bel-Rey fork oil combined with the CB900RR rear shock is the perfect combination for suspension parts on this bike and my weight.
Hopefully the JMC swing arm will get here soon so I will not have to look that piece of steel that is there now very much longer. Besides, that swing arm is going on my next build, a Pro-Linked 1982 silver CB750/1123 Super F. She will be my 1st silver bike.
I miss you people more than you will ever know and hope I do not get slammed by certain people because of me posting on this site again.
I will stop bye again in the future to see what was said here and hope with all of my heart that you are all in good health and better spirits.
Happy New Year everyone.
Peace |

No location posted and you guys are freaking over his bike like little school girls.
Nice bike but without a location posted, it might as well be a Yamaha.

Ray - you should have made your way up to the squiddy lookout, that Calcapsurf guy was shooting again and he got a bunch of my F and he could have gotten some shots of that thing in motion.
Cant wait to see that thing on the road!! |

Oh yeah Ray we miss ya over here its too friggin quiet. Your contributions here were always appreciated. Although your exterior personality may be somewhat akin to a porcupine at times, we all knew that when the chips were down and we needed help you would be there. Maybe calling us a dumbass along the way but you'd be there. |

Ray, When I came aboard with my first toy not long ago, you and what you were doing was my inspiration. This bike is the finest example (imo) of where you can go with these bikes, it's great! There are alot of guys here that would benefit from you being around. thanks |

Yeah, it's not every site that gets it's very own drug addict to help out with menial repairs like this site did for 10s of thousands of posts.
No reflection on you Andy, you built one helluva bike there.
I'm a fairly successful drug addict with a long past in fairly big time rock n roll. Most of my peers treat me pretty well and actually request my services too. I got out and do sports now... maybe somewhat signifigant games now, just MNF akk season and playoffs, as well as other things... like the Academy awards, the Museum of Television and Radio... puff TV really... It's about a mostly a half time job by the week, but I get by considering my local L.A work. (that's Los fucking Angeles) in the heartland
I know Ray personally, and we are friends. We speak most days.
Ray is fine and his endeavours are coming along just fine. I don't know if he will really come back here and post much, but we have our (Custom) site, and he is one of the founders of it.
I've seen his bike up close and personal, and the attention to detail cannot be caught in pictures. Good onya Ray.
