I saw these at the bike show last week. Looks to be very good quality and fold up in the corner when not needed.

Man that would make life easier for me. Not this year though since I'm still pouring $$$ into the bike.

Did it look like it would be laterally stable? It's hard to tell how wide the base is from the picture.

Wide enough for the barge we have secured on it at the shop.
36" or so.

The only question I have is:

What can you do with it?

Can you put a jack under it to raise either the front or rear wheel?
Can you pull the forks?
Can you pull the swingarm?
Can you pull the motor?
Can you do anything except change the spark plugs?

Just looked at the pic with the wheel off, no thanks.

Seems kinda narrow to do any of the above....looks kinda scary.....course maybe I`m just a sissy. I`ll stick with my Handy Lift.

Kind of looks like a big ironing board. I like the idea, but the picture doesn't bestow confidence.

I too gave these a good look at a motorcycle show in DC. At first look, they didn't look stable, but they sure did when they put a couple of different bikes on and lifted her up.

Even though I did like the idea of how compact these were, I ended up getting a regular platform lift, because the idea of my Wing on that puppy just didn't set well with me. The guys assured me no problem, but.....

If I were to do it all over again, I would go with a Pitbull lift. Cool

These look like they only good enough to lift a bike to load onto a trailer or flat bed...

Pulling tyre's, Forks or motors is best done on the floor. Well for me anyways... I feel the shorter the distance to fall the less damage if it falls, and theres less chance of loosing a toe or something...

Gremmy....

I'm going to make one out of a come-along and some pulleys.
I'm going to lift the bike up from the ceiling.
No worrys about storage space that way....
Nothing in the way either, just got to pick the spot to hang it...

If I had the room, I would want a platform lift because you can do about anything to the bikes. This lift is to do general work without leaning over. I'm getting stiff in the joints in my old age. They do make a frame jack attachment but I don't know if I would want to do major work on this lift.

I hear you, Stout.

Got one of these to help the old bones when I don't use the lift. A little $$$, but the best I've ever owned of these type of creeper seats!!

And since our bikes have under frame exhausts, the ones you see for 75 bucks are USELESS!

I have one of these and am very happy with it especially for the price. Another $79 gets the air lift instead of the foot pump.

Mine came with 4 adjstable cradles that work just fine...

Most folks take off the pipes 1st and put them on last anyway...

I have posted info about the lift I use in the past but wanted to let you guys know there are other options. The platform lifts are great, but you still need a bottle jack and blocks when you have to work on the front or rear. This system really works.

That is exactly why if I had to do it again, I would get the Pitbull with the turntable attachment!

With the platform lift a buddy of mine has he has attached heavy duty straps to the large beam/rafters going through the top of the garage. He simply attaches the hooks to the rear of the bike and slowly lowers the lift.

TADAAA!! Perfect for removing the rear wheel.

However, I did not trust my ceiling when I did the rear tire on my Wing so I simply got a OEM jack out of a wrecked car out of the local junk yard for $5 and I can easily raise the ass end, putting this between the bike and the platform of the lift.
