nice 750! and a lot of people here might suggest you change more than a few things on your bike. it looks pretty stock as is, and probably makes you happy just the way it is.
just remember, you start changing stuff and pretty soon it will become an obsession. sport bars, suspension fixes, wheel and tire changes, carburation upgrades....you will loose all your old friends, you will forget to eat and sleep, it will keep you up nights talking to yourself and giggling about the evil you have been consumed by......no, wait, thats me... Laughing
nice bike. welcome.

I bought the bike in 1988 from a Honda dealer that I had worked for about 10 years back in the 70s. I am really enjoying the bike with the stock parts, but thanks for some of the suggestions. I have enjoyed looking at some of the modifications that you all have done to your bikes.

Hahaha roflmao

That is good Rob!!!

CBBOB,

The best part of these bikes is that you can make it exactly like you want it. If stock is what pleases you (and there is no reason it shouldn't) more power to you. I personnally love the looks of the stock CB-F in most any of the flavors that they came in. You can clean, polish and paint to keep your stock bike looking just a beatuiful as any of the modified bikes IMO.

Be happy and most of all be proud that you own such a fun and cool machine. Your bike looks awesome and is very clean...BTW!!

I laughed at Rob's light hearted way to caution you about getting obsessed but he is right since I for one am truely obsessed and there is no turning back for me. BWAAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAA!!!

Dave

I agree with Alaskagriz. Build it the way you like it, no matter what others think. I like all the bikes I see on this site. Wingpilot96 that is a very nice looking bike. Anybody else want to show off their bike?

dont go fixing something that aint broke. my bike was a mess when i got it, so anything i did to mine was a vast improvement. with yours i might even go to stocking it out even more....stock exhaust and such. there is a member that lives in the coeur d'alene, idaho area that has this beautiful black 750 [that i can think of right away, i know there are other nice 750s on this site]. hope he doesnt mind me showing off his bike, but it is really nice.

First of all I very much like your bike, especially the 79 model with those wheels. I am looking for a set of stock exhaust hopefully I will come across it one day.
