Got it, Pro-link Wink , wont' let it happen again, sir!

Do you still have the drawing for the parts for this Pro-Link shock mount and if so can I get them? If you can save me from reading back through 18 pages, what swingarm, shock, and wheel are you using?

1981CB Mark is the guy I got the design from but, I think he got it from Cooter, I am not sure.
You could try to send Mark a PM but he is one of the 100s of people still stranded out there and can't access the site or he is still too busy with the move he did and work.
I accidently deleted the design from my own hard drive when I was cleaning out files that did not get used.

Oh yeah, you do not have to call me sir, Sir is my father. You can call me Mr Anal rententive deushebag. Razz

Today's work was split between this and my CBX because I needed help putting the 6 pack back into the intakes. Once that was done, I had to tilt the engine back into place and bolt her up.
Then I played around with a couple of things like the rear sets, coils & wiring harness. I also put the lights on but, my box for the wiring has not shown up yet and I can't mount it or hide the wiring yet.

I listen to Dethklok as I work. Are the any Dethklok fans out there?

The bike is a dream coming true so far, I am very happy and even more excited.
I have the deluxe Dethklok CD and I am listening to it right now, yes it is heavy. Very heavy, the heaviest I have ever liked and it is a fictional band from a cartoon show on Sunday nught TV.

Maybe, if I still have it. If I have my way, I will be riding a new GL 1800 by April next year.

Does this mean that once you finish building the totally wicked Super F you're going to sell it to buy a GL1800? Shocked

With a JMC swing arm, she will look tough. Twisted Evil
But with standard CBR F-3 forks only sporting 4 piston calipers, she will never look as exotic as yours Rolling Eyes

What is that for Ben? Confused A guy needs to grow and I am doing just that, growing and I need to stretch my long chicken legs.
Do you have any idea of the physical pain I have to go through to ride one of my bikes? My arthritic knees and spine yell at me badly after just one hours worth of riding. My left wrist hurts all the time. {The one operated on this year}
I am too stubborn to give up riding because as much pain as it brings me, it brings me ten times as much pleasure but I need something I can ride with a boatload of comfort and after riding with guys that can ride GL1800s like they are sport bikes, I only want one more.
I would give up all of my preasent bikes in a minute to have Laurie on the back with me again and if that is what I have to do to get her riding with me again, that is what will happen.

I am sorry Ray, it was just a seat of the pants reaction. I am thinking of selling my bikes also and getting a payment.
I guess the reaction was mainly because of how much higher up the scale your bikes are than mine. Mine are garbage and no one would think twice about me selling my bikes. You know what I mean?
Sorry bro, it was stupid for me to do what I did. Rolling Eyes That roll is for myself this time.

They are cool Cool but they are in need of many little details that I do not feel like doing anymore.
The red bike needs paint and so does the CBX Confused .
I am not going to sink the money in them for paint, let someone else have that privilage and they can have the fun of riding them too. Wink

If I was to keep my red bike, I would have to brace up the frame and have her powder coated then spend a shitload of money on the bodywork & paint because the tank has two small dents in it now and the red paint is badly sun faded on top. Figure about $800.00 to get it looking good and braced up for stability.
She needs no mechanical aid because she is tighter than a whales ass and they are water proof so you know my engine is good & strong.
Her suspension is tuned to my weight but can be adjusted easily for either direction, up or down in poundage. 94 CBR F-2 forks with dual adjustment, F-2 wheel & brakes. The bike does stoppies easily.
Her rear end has Ohlins shocks and a Davida Moto swinger with a CBR F-3 wheel & brake. Niceness all the way around on that bike except the paint & frame.
I do not want to do anymore work to the bike but, she needs more work to be tough enough to handle all that power.
I have thoroughly jacked my own thread again, wow. So look at the bike again is in order.

I made a bad mess with oil out in the garage today that I am waiting on the cat litter to do it's trick and soak that shit up. Then I have to empty the garage and pressure wash the floor because my landlord is gonna shit if he sees what I have done. At least a 1/4 of oil got spilled today Head Banger

Ray, we sure hope you will keep at least one of the F's--I vote for the R-eplica. Otherwise you might leave the forum, and that would be terrible! If Ben and I were on the west coast we'd be all over 1 or more of your bikes when you do sell them, but, alas, we are on the wrong coast.

I am going to play the lotto again on New Years Eve after quitting it about 8 months ago and if I win, I will not sell any of my bikes and get that GL 1800 too. Wink

Today I spent all of the money I did not have for Gene to order a brand spankin' new JMC swing arm for my "R"eplica, 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.
Gene wanted the Carillo's more than I did especially when I need the money to buy the part of my bike that will make it stand out above the rest, a custom made JMC swing arm for my bike instead of this ugly piece of steel that is on there now.

When one decides to go with twin headlights like I did, there is a big issue of where to hide all the wires & connectors that were in the single headlight bucket. Well, instead of rewiring the whole harness to fit my bike, I am going to use a 5.5" x 4" x 3" box underneath the twin headlights.
I bought an electrical junction box for $42.00 from some web site and will be able to mount it up on the lower clamp under the head light but, I also bought this box here and think it would be funny as hell to have it on my bike instead.
