2004 or 2005? Love those bikes, they are awsome.
The ZRX was one of the bikes I considered for the year leading up to a new bike. If Kawasaki had kept it in production till this year when I was ready to buy a new bike I would have had a really hard decision, espically if they kept that Green color.
instead I bought this:
My friend who rides triumphs said something interesting today. He has an 03 speed triple and went to go for a ride and he said he notice he was not worried about it starting or making the hour ride in to jersey at all and that it was a nice feeling for a change. I told him I couldn't relate because I ride hondas and I don't really have to worry about that stuff in the first place, but there is something uniquely comforting about a nice tight new motorcycle. |

That was near the top of my list too. I haven't heard a bad thing about them. Enjoy!

Had a 2002 just like it, same red color. I used to refer to it as the widow maker. Great bike. You're gonna love it. Good luck!! |

I have a 2003 ZRX.....Great bike for the Money! And adjustable suspension to boot! Get rid of the Stock seat, its like sitting on a plank and it keeps sliding you into the tank! Get a corbin or a Sargeant...you'll be glad you did. http://www.zrxoa.com/ check out this board for info and parts for the ZRX......Later, Sven |

I sold my 1100f this spring and purchased my 03 ZRX 1200R last August. I love this bike , she handles great and has plenty of balls. I recently did some work on her. I put a 4 degree ignition advancer, K&N filter, stage dynojet kit and a full stainless muzzy exhaust.
This pic was taken last weekend at Grand Bend at 1/4 drag races. Out of 38 entries I finished in 4th place. Not bad for an old guy.
And one last thing, went riding with John(cb1100fer) today. We swapped bikes and when we stopped for a smoke break he had a smile from ear to ear . |

Ive always liked that bike... Especially the Black/purple color scheme. It was a shame that Kawaskai discontinued building them. Then Da Beast walked all over one coming down I-90 from Snoqualmie pass a few years back, and I didnt feel so bad not having one... |

I have always liked the Kawasaki ZRX's myself, but I think I like blizzard002's avatar better.
Excuse me while I sit here and stare at my screen for the next hour or so... |

I have to admit that every single time I ride my ZRX, it puts a huge grin on my face... is it the rattle of the FCRs, the smooth torque of the 1200, the red color, the Dymags, or the howl from the Kerker race baffle...? Yep, all of the above!
p.s. Still have a pair of F bikes in my garage... and a CBX or two.

yeah, double wow!!!
since we are on the subject - I hear from the Suzuki GS guys that stock ZRX shocks make an excellent upgrade over the stock GS1100 and CBF shocks. It is just a rumor though since I have never even been close to one that wasn't on a bike. |

I had the opportunity to by a CB1300, but turned it down for a few reasons. So instead, I bought a Suzuki Bandit 1200 which some of the members here are quite aware of.
