The F looks more like a nighthawk, the R does not look to bad, but the magic question is will Honda send them to the U.S. market? |

I swore off buying new bikes years ago and have since bought and rebuilt my rides from the used market or sourced all the needed parts to build complete bikes. I'll state right here and now that if Honda brings that CB1100R to the USA, I will definitely have a new one in my garage! |

The F is ugly as shit! Literally... it looks like a cross between a turd and a Harley. The R is sweet though. |

That F looks more like a 400/4 with that angular tank and curvy header...think some stylist got confused over the back catalogue |

The engines look like the post CBF DOHC used in the (non-NA model) CBX750. Any word on the internals etc?

I see the 400F cues, especially the exhaust system. But I have to admit that when I first saw the picture the bike that came immediately to mind was the mid-eighties Yamaha SRX thumper. Go figure.  |

mind you...not sure if that 'R' is really related to the CB1100RB/C/D's or more styled after the Bol d'or endurance racers...best pic I could quickly find...

And what are the 60's honda badges on the tank for ???????
Chris looks right about that mid 80's CBX750 engine being reborn...looks like a strong family resemblance...Actually, perhaps its a CBX750 tribute bike

I understand our bikes are heavy but what if they took the time to make an air cooled bike as light as they make modern race reps? Are the air cooled Ducatis lighter than their water cooled brethren? That R/boldor replica looks very light. Bars in a reasonable position. The bracket for the license plate makes me think this is a production bike. Could we be lucky for once? Please.  |

I agree with you guys that the 1100F on that site is funny looking and that the R is awesome. My jaw dropped though when I opened the link and saw that beautiful flat 6 sportbike with the single-sided swingarm, they're calling it the EVO6. Looks like a concept bike, but if that thing ever made it into production I'd want one! |

Honda made the Rune, didn't they? And there was a highly modified Rune at the Rock Store a few weeks back that had a bitchin' 6-6 exhaust and was super charged, it looked and sounded very wild.
This is an awesome machine and if ever I could own a new bike, that is the one I want for sure.

doooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooods, the 1100r is sick, bitchin, rad, whatever, its the $#!%. Some of those other new bikes Ive seen you guys throw up have been kinda cool, but this thing is almost as cool as some of your guys 1100r replicas and reals.
I want two, one red one blue and either can get blacked out in a rebuild! |
