Very Happy Hey ya'll,

Well, even though the riding season is winding down, I am happy happy happy!
I was able to trade a pistol for an 1100f motor with Mikuni's, frame, rear sets, a nice set of forks and all the plastic for a used .40 pistol!
I never sold the 900, which I am now glad for, I'm also trying to trade for a punched out 900 motor, so I may have a used 900 motor that runs for sale in the near future..
This next riding season already looks bright to me!!!

I traded a SDpringfield XD .40 for the bike, I loved that pistol too! That is the only XD that accomodates a .357 drop in as well as the 9mm drop in, so basically 3 in one, although 9mm is basically useless!

Tell that to all the folks who've been killed by a 9mm

The same goes for a .22 as well, how many have died from them......Multiple shots will kill anyone unfortunately!
It's not the tool, it's the operator...........

Last Saturday it was 93 degrees, this Sunday it barley reached 63. I didn't ride last weekend and I'm glad I didn't . I much rather ride in 63 than 93. Today we did 280 miles and it was cool almost cold all day long for the way I was dressed. The riding season is not over yet but I'm afraid it wont be long now. If I make it till the first of November I'll be happy.

The XD is a nice pistol, though I'm a Glock man myself. I have been thinking about adding an XD in .45 GAP to my stable though. I don't know if I'd trade a gun for a bike, unless I wanted to sell the gun anyway and it was a really nice bike!

I'm a big fan of the cooler weather--no bug splats! I like the feel of a textile or leather jacket that I wear this time of year. Feels a little safer than the mesh, too.
