When I asked my Honda dealer for the price of a Honda CB750F DOHC Valve Cover, he replied, "do you mean the rocker cover?" |

Hope you called him out on that. I know I would have had a hard time coming short of calling him a dumb ass. How do people like that get behind the counters??
That's the nicest rocket cover I have ever seen. But then again, I have not seen many "rocket" covers in my life time.
So is it made from space age material? Approved by NASA? Maybe this is something really special?
I let this seller know as nicely as I could that I understood he meant ROCKER cover, and that there are NO rockers in the engine of a CBF DOHC. Also let him know that the proper name for said item is a CAM COVER. Might help him sell it if he labels it right. |

I just bit my tongue and said yeah that's the one.
It was too expensive anyway. |

I wonder what "honda paint" was used. These were just polished and clearcoated, no? |

The guys wife was the one putting the part up for sale for him.
Makes more sense now doesn't it?
She apologized to me, even though I was not in any way asking for one. |
