Now I bought a bike for Quyen.
I have huge mixed feelings, because I have the money but it was for paying off my credit card.... |

I think Ray said he had an extra (400f bar) in the closet for when Quyen/AJ needed them...

Looks good AJ.. Is tha the one in San Bernadino or the one in Valencia... I can't find either message I sent you about them..

P.S. I notice the bike was last registered out of state... there's an easy way and a hard way to take ownership and get it resitered on CA... I just did 3 1100F's in the same status...

Very nice, 1975 I think. I like the Parakeet yellow with black side covers they had in 76. Saw a 350 Four laying in the junk yard when I was there last week, brought tears to my eyes. |

Nice bike! I am a cb400f guy, too. Looks like the muffler and shocks are also different. Subscribe to the cb400f group on Yahoo for more info.

AJ, that is a nice bike and definately the kind of bike that Marcelo and Edgar really like to work on. I kind of like it too but don't don't tell anyone, especially my 1123s or CBX.
I actually want one of them to modify it's wheel and forks. I think it would look even better with alloy wheels and Ohlins shocks. |

Awesome bike AJ, I've always wanted one. 10,500 red line out of that two valver. Six speed trans. Wow.That was pretty hot stuff for a four stroker back in the day. I look forward to a ride report on that sweet bike.  |

Thanks everyone for all the positive words.... I still am trying to figure if I want to keep it. I guess I should ride it first, eh?
Ray, I may take it by Marcelo's and have him do a compression test etc to see if its going to last....

Cool, there is a cb400f..at least that's what the guy says..for sale here. It looks just like a 81 900 silver...same paint scheme.

No the Auto was a totally different bike. Pastas bike was made in 75,76,77, it was a 10,500 red line four cylinder. The twin cylinder 400's came out in 78 and they made 3 versions the CB 400A [auto], the CB400TI Hawk I [spoke wheels] and the CB400TII Hawk II [comstar wheels] |
