I can appreciate any form of motorcycling, and if someone held a gun to my head said ride a Harley or die.... I could make something work (Mert Lawwill Street Tracker))
But C'MON. WTF. I go to the Rock Store on Saturday to get pancakes. I pull up into an open area, lots of space around it and I come back from my doughy heavin and I get this.
WTF?!?!?! I had to roll my bike out so I didnt hit the f%$king chome-mobile on my right. To make matters worse, the neanderthal's were standing right behind me making sure I didnt actually tough their pieces of crap.
Mind you there was twenty feet on either side of me when I got there. It doesnt look close, but I seriously couldnt get my bike of the stand without hitting the metal mess.
Had I done that, there would have been a fight.
Some harley riders are cool (eg; Luke, the four other guys on the board with Harleys and about two other doods in Newfoundland)
as for the rest of them:
godamm special ed of motorcycling.
ok, im done.
as you were. |

Good thing that wasnt my bike and the assholes were standing behind me.I'd had to tell them that if they could'nt park better than that...they should get a F'n bycycle!!!
Guess the fight would have been on,but they would have thought twice before they parked like morons again.
Hate it when I see red,but stupid crap like that will do it every time! |

For as long as i can remember Honda`s have been a thorn in Harley riders side.
More then any other Jap. bike harley`s hate honda`s.
But i dont think thats the problem.
The rock store gets filled up fast and parking is precious
Think of it this way...He trusted you enough to trust you wouldnt hurt his big Harley.
Drivers on the road bother me more.
But indeed i think he sucks at parking.
I could have done a better job as you could have too. |

Harley riders are undeniably the biggest bunch of jerks in the world. Sure there are some exceptions, but overall they are complete morons. Its terrible here in Milwaukee every time there's a "reunion" or "homecoming" for them. They act like the own the place, lane splitting (which is illegal here), blocking up the roads, rumbling and revving 24/7, riding drunk, parking in intersections to block traffic so the rest of their group can get through a red light, pulling around you at stop lights en masse and forcing their way in ahead of you.
Am I bitter? You'd better believe it. Next time that happens to you I'd suggest a swift kick in the seat. Send the crappy hunk of junk over on its side. If you're lucky it'll act like dominoes and take a dozen or so more out with it. |

BINGO!! Take a Quaalude and CHILL...... Ive been in tighter places then that and its par for the course... Not worth getting your blood pressure in a twist over...
Course, if it was my Nephew, he would have made a big cow over it, gotten punched out and ruined my riding day... He is so anal retentive, that if you looked anal retentive up in the dictionary, he would be there right next to Felix Unger.... |

Seen the same thing.
I used to park next to a BMW in my apartment building. Talked to the guy a few times, invited him out riding. He just seems to think I am not worth the time it takes to get rid of me. Whatever. Now he won't even park next to my bike. Even though I give him adequate room. I figure we can fit two of us comfortably in one parking space. But he keeps parking some place else now. Like he is worried that his bike will catch some disease from on old classic. |

You know, that was just what I was thinking...guy must have been a weird-skinny sort of H-D rider with the poise of a ballet dancer
It would have bugged me to eatpasta..mind you its just that sort of "personal space" invasion in the [normally limited] bike parks that makes me put mine up on the main stand each time. |

Naw man, I totally agree. Beemer people are really strange - they have this bizarre air of superiority to them. Like their bikes are the best in the world (well.... they pretty much are. The most expensive too) and because they have good bikes, everyone else is beneath them.
I personally hate that shit. I always pull up to the Rock Store and they never talk to me and I dont care, I dont want to be one of them. I let the dents in the side of my bike speak for themselves. I ride my Beemer, they dont.
With all the beemer guys that I have met, there are two kinds (for the most part)
1. the DIE HARDS. The Iron Butts. They will ride 3000 miles a day if they can. They have GPS, CB, Radar, Bluetooth or iPods, you name it. tracks on the GPS for every inch of dirt on the continent and not afraid to ride ANYwhere. Super excited to ride with anyone to anywhere. They will follow each other to the ends of the earth and stop to patch the tires of the Harley guys who ran over their own beer bottle.
2. The snobs. Their bikes are garage queens and rarely are out of polish. They dont wave, refuse to talk to other bikers unless they are on the exact same machine but with less miles. They stand in small circles, drink Starbucks and talk about how meticulously they performed their last valve adjustment, made a video and posted it on Youtube (im not joking BTW)
If I ever become that, someone slap me back to being an F'er.

That's a convertible with 2 wheels!!
I would take the bike out between the pieces of crap and then do a burn-out burying their chrome with steaming-hot rubbers pieces! (those are hard to clean, haha) |

Yeah, right across the face with a gold boomerang Comstar. Pimp style with the whole body working it. Back hand from the ground to face level.
And that may not even be that easy since you are probably a foot taller than I am. But I will do it none the less.
Word of advice. Don't become a Beemer snob.
But I am not worried. |

Wow Pasta, you know hwo you think of the perfect thing to do or say five minutes or five days later?
Woulda been really nice to look over the situation real closely, start scratching your head like "how am I gonna get this out of here?" Then put on you helmet, slowly squeeze in, start her up, let her get warm. Then ever so gently saddle up, click her into gear, grab a handful of front brake, and a handful of throttle and dump that clutch and let her rev for a bit till she gets good and straight. Then back her down and slowly ease out of your spot. Dont forget to wave goodbye! |

A) Didnt love my bike so much
B) I didnt have a CB1100F clutch
c) I didnt have to hear Ray lecture me about streching out my chain again.

AJ, in a case like that I would forgive any abuse to your bike and donate my time to help fix anything that would not have broken after a smoke show.
CB1100Fs handle smoke shows very well with no ill effects afterwards.

if a harley parks too close here is what you do... start your bike and put your helmet on. Mount the bike putting your right foot on the the side of the harley gas tank and firmly push up with your left foot until you are upright and the harley isn't. Pull clutch in put in first and get the flock out of there.
Double points for starting a harley domino effect |
