Just got a new camera..sort of for my B-day. Pentax W30...7.1MP..bunch of nice features, and is waterproof (not just resistant) to 10ft for 2hrs. Had to try out the video capabilities...so of course I used it on the 750F. Now I know you guys will let me know about the gear jumping back while shifting...but just consider the video...sound is good too. From what the manufacturer says..it also does movies with sound underwater!

Removed the video link...but put in a URL link instead.....

Have you done the shifter window modification yet? That will help with missing shifts during power shifting.

That camera takes a nice video, cool deal.
Now keep making videos and start a library full so when your riding season is over, you can go back and look at your videos and not just see the ones that I post in the middle of winter. Twisted Evil

And Ray..almost like SoCal..my riding season almost never ends....just have to layer up a bit more....planning to go to Deal's Gap in a few weeks...will have the camera for that trip...also looking towards a day at the Hoot!

Sport,

Tried to make this as simplistict as possible. I used a handlebar bracket from another bike and a flash attachment I had..it attached rather easily with just two bolts. the camera is rather small and weighs about nothing...

Its true...I just wanted to razz you about it...

that is a pretty cool set up. Where is the mic on the camera, didn't hear much wind noise and thought you had a windshield or something...pretty cool set up.

The camera is an Pentax Optio W30ImageThe mic and speaker are on top of the camera and as stated are waterproof. My digital video camera picks up wind noise like crazy , even behind the windsheild of the Goldwing.

Very cool. The bracket looks like it weighs a hell of a lot more than the camera, though. Good quality video and sound.

Watch out for the entering from the right pickups!

That mount is similar to mine but I use the mirror mount to hold my camera mount to the handlebar because I use bar end mirrors and have a choice of left or right mounting.
My camera mount started life out as an old 80s pistol grip cam corder mount that I modified with a vice and a hammer by smashing the old plastic off and the giving it a quick bend to mount it to the old mirror mount.
That is cool you have a year round riding season and a camera so we can compete next winter on who has more video of cooler roads while everyone else is freezing their asses off. Twisted Evil
