Can`t find a lefthand bar switch assembly for my 11F.
Anybody have contact info for a wrecker/re-cycler that might have one Question

Yeh I know they turn up often on Ebay. So far I`ve won 1 that turned out to be cracked, & 1 that turned out to be for a 900.

There's a left switch pod listed at http://www.independentcycle.com but I can't comment on its condition. You can look the part up on line, then call em.

They are here in my city, so I could go take a look at it or send pictures if their description over the phone is lacking. Should be no problem, though, they are a pretty good outfit

Yep, I do myself as well. If he hasn't got it, I wouldn't imagine anyone has on this planet.
I did visit him about four times, all the parts I had sofar solved my problems. He won't sell you parts he wouldn't put on one of his own bike. Even on one occasion I picked up a set of pick up coils, spark boxes and a carb rack, payed him afterwards only on thrust.... Quite remarkable these days... lunterenholland is da man.....

Haven`t had time to call about the 2 in the States yet. Will try on Monday.

The place in Washington didn`t answer my online inquiry. Their site says they`re re-doing their inventory system, & the parts listed on their site may not still be available. Don`t know if I can get hold of them next week because of the time zone difference & my work schedule.

The place in Mass. has a few things backwards in the description. Photo is LH switch. They say it`s a LH. Then they say ignition kill in description Rolling Eyes

They`ve got a RH described as signal/horn/dimmer, with a pic of a RH Rolling Eyes

. Will have to call to clarify. They want $55 USD.

I did get email from Holland & a pic . There`s an extra small white connector onit. I was told this is different horn wiring. Don`t know how this would work on US 11F, & have had problems with a 900F switch with different horn wiring. The ground wiring wasn`t the same.

Checked out the German one on Ebay. Has an extra button. Probably for flashing headlight for passing. Very cool. Listing seems to describe it as fitting various models. I already know a US 900 won`t work on a US 1100 & if it has a white/green striped wire in the control harness, it won`t work because horn is wired differently.Think it `s the same as the one in Holland. Can`t see the wiring in enough detail. Plus I can`t speak German.
