And whats wrong with being English? If he was an Aussie he would have been proud to have been called English - as he's a Kiwi he is almost English anyway!

What?
In the words of Ray; You must have bumped your head! |
Christ - what took you lot so long?
You been kipping or just drowning your sorrows at getting thrashed in the cricket?

Well, at least he's not black!
Or gay...
Or old.
Wait, he might be all three. Damn. He's screwed, and he doesn't even know it.
And now I went and did it.
I just pissed off the other 90% of the board.
You gay black old farts. Don't wanna leave anyone out on my piss parade. |
1. Yes, I am often screwed without even knowing it. Ask my wife.
2. Happy to be a neighbour of my Aussie mates.
3. It's a long time since I've seen the English happy about their cricket team, Andy. Savour the brief moment. |

As far as the bike rider goes..the airport would have been a good idea as the police choppers and news media are not allowed in that airspace ( its a physics issue..to objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time..unless you want pieces parts all over the place)
why would you try and hide a bike in a lot full of cars?? why not go to a bike dealership and park and the walk away?
I have noticed that you americans are far less aggressive than those riders up here. On more than one occasion I have been visciously rammed in right front fender by a rabbid rider who failed to stop..
They claimed I rammed them but thats just unthinkable..
The moral of the story is out of sight out of mind.
Dont race or ride crazy where people can be bothered or see you then the po-po dont come around and ruin the fun.
WHATS WRONG WITH TODAYS GENERATION !!!! RESPECT....ITS ALL ABOUT RESPECT!!!! |

WELL Guys I think the best thing the video illustrates are the reasons why LA sucks....
5, Police have too much Air Support
4, Nosey traffic reporters in helipoter.
Helping the police
3, Air you can see.
2, It's too damn spread out.
1, It's the car chase video capital of the world...
OJ, Rodney King, Guy in a Tank, etc, etc they put anyone on the news.
Most juristiction cops would have stopped chasing him once they lost contact
unless it was felony evasion from the scene of a active crime.
Com'on blown stop sign, simple evasion..poor fella the endorphins(sp?) got the best of him
he was too hyped to do the next simple task..buy a damn jacket/sweat suit and dump the hat.
Even if it was his bike, go spend the night with friend/family get home report it stolen, end of story.
AS FOR SKILL LEVEL...HOME BOY WAS RIDIN' HIS BEHIND OFF
thinking ahead making smooth moves/heart pounding/breath short
We only saw the part of the chase from the news guys had already lost
the cops on the ground...riding that hard for that long isn't something
everyone can do. You'll just have to trust me being chased ain't easy. |

You know we never hear about the chases where the guy gets away.
Even if you're impressed with his riding skills, he's still an idiot. His risk/reward meter was way out of calibration. |

Spider has it nailed. Pull over and you will likely get a break or let go with a warning. Either way the cops aren't personally pissed at you because you didnt make it a challenge. Be humble and apologetic and you get HUGE bonus points. ( the odd prick cop out there excepted)
If someone tries to run from me they do get caught. Although I like my bike and ride it within my limitations, I can drive the shit outta a cruiser and thou shalt not escape .
In fact I give them every little chicken shit thing from every obscure law I can come up with. WHY? because he was an idiot who put me on the spot and needs a real good reality check.
Now like Spider says just stop. If you havent caused any mayhem that the public saw me observe happen then you are golden.
I can lecture you until I feel better and you can leave. No blood no foul. As said earlier most guys pull a boner stunt and go "oh shit" and run and then decide this is dumb but cant stop. It is commonly known as a "feed back loop". You know your wrong but just cant figure out how to get out and that makes it worse.
The helicopter thing drives me nuts too. I you beat me then go away we will have round two another day. Those helicopters only drive the guy to keep going if they know they are up there. If the guy thought no one was still following or watching he would have dropped onto a surface street and slowed down no longer risking his life or others.
The media, although needed, causes more troubles than they fix.
Ahhhh. I feel much better now thanks. |
