...the 1100F gallery of my $125 purchase. Needs some work but I did manage to get the engine to turn over so maybe it wont be too bad? |

Yeah I agree, but its not really as bad as it looks in the pic. Just some missing parts. The rest is just dusty from sitting in storage since '97. The tank has been stripped and looks brand new on the inside, just some light surface rust on the outside. But I think Im gonna buy a new tank anyway, along with all the bodywork for that matter. The frame actually is pretty decent and will clean up pretty good...I hope? My main task is to get it running. The story behind it is that the previous owner give it to the cycle shop for some money he owed on another bike and it was forgotten about tucked away in the corner. Other than that all I know is that DMV records show that its been a local bike since it was new.They told me that they had another one but I havent had a chance to go by and see. But hey, if its too good to be true...then its still too good to pass up! LMAO!!!! |
