Finally....

I recieve a replay back about my title from the Wisconsin DMV. They said call...Of coarse. Wellt his morning i got up at 9 and called (which i believe is 8 there). I was on hold for about 20 minutes or so. I just put the phone on speaker and had it sitting on my desk while i played here on the forum. A lady answered and i explained my dillemma. She knew rigth what it was. Pre-1980 Wisconsin DMV didn't use the frame stamping for verification. They would use the motor code, model name or frame stamp in some variation. thus why My title says the VIN is CB750FE2006104 (Frame: RC04-2005917, Engine: RC04-2006104). She said she had a paper hat could be sent to me to explain this. They actually have a form on file, bcause this happens so much. I had her send it to me. its ucks that is costs $10, but it should definaetly fix all my woes. Also i had her run the title # and it came up. So it is a valid title, luckily. I shoudl recieve this by Saturday and then i can get my new title and registration. Anyone knwo how much vanity plates are? I figured since i was doing it might as well go all out. Hey.. Thats some good news. You dont need vanity plates right now, Do You? You gotta fix allot of thing brother. A vanity is just a waste for you now. Flame me if you must but thats my two cents.

$10 Bucks is cheap considering all the alturnatives. Smile you'll be going to the beach much more often now

yea ten buck for the form then liek 80ish to have it transfered. So all for under $100. Considering i was going to use ITS that would have been 75 plus another 80 to have it transferred here, thus like 155 or more. The vanity is not needed, but i figured why i was there, why not. But maybe i shoudl save it till after i have the 823 kit put in....

Vanity tags for Florida are fairly expensive. I am not sure what they are but I seem to remember 75 - 100 a year. It is NOT a one time fee to get the tag made. I would look at other ways to spend my money if I were you.

it was liek 40 for my truck per year. I figured it would be the same for bikes... no?

One thing about vanity plates. Its easy for others to remember. I knew someone who had them on his car and pissed somebody off. It was just a normal traffic annoyance, but the guy managed to remember the plate and then got their phone#. Etc.
