I also happen to know another member here with a Super F worthy of this amazingly fine group. And if I may be so bold as to out him here, he may get over his shyness and post a pic publicly.
Midnight has built an amazing bike that looks as if it could have rolled straight off the production line. Clean and sweet. F'n (as in Super F that is... ) Amayzing!!
My hats off to you buddy!!

Thanks a lot man! I took two pics today, the weather was good over here and it seems she likes the sun

Hey Eddie,
Whats the handling like now, with those very different angles?
I have been messing around with a set of FZR1000 forks and yokes in my US F but was a bit concerned with how different the fork lengths were over stock.
How does she go round corners compared to stock and also how stable is she at speed?
Fine looking piece of kit mate - good job!

Thanks guys!
Andy, her handling is very different from stock. the wider/flatter tires make her very stable but it's very hard work if you're not at a decent speed! At speed she gets more happy, she loves long curves and the back-end does not get 'twitchy' like it used to do when she was stock! (I think I may have been pushing a tad too much though )
At speed she seems to be more stable than stock but I have not tested her above 190kmh. I will in the near future and I'll report back, in stock form she scared the shit out of me at 200kmh on the speedo. Too wiggly, I'm a very lightweight person so that doesn't help either I guess.. It feels better now, it also reached 190 a lot faster, the bikes lost a bunch of weight and the engine should be putting out a bit more power.
The main improvement of the ride is the front suspension which isn't flawed anymore, progressive springs, thicker oil and lowering it a bit really worked for me. The rear is set very hard with not a lot of preload, I like how responsive it is but on the other hand it's not too comfortable. I 'll probably have to adjust here and there but I'm in the testing phase now and everything is ok |

Thanks for that feedback Eddie. Keep us posted. I'm a long way off finishing mine (2 Fs and an R in my lock up getting some treatment) so I'm glad I've got the standard R on the road, especially with the weather we're having. Guess its hot for you guys too eh?

With my schedule right now, I just don't have the time devote a whole afternoon or weekend to install the swingarm. I know it will turn into at least a week long project. I'm sure with my usual luck, I'll snap a bolt or discover I need to replace something before I put her back together and that whatever I need, it will need to be ordered and take 2 weeks.
I have missed WAYY too much ride time on my beloved F the last season and a half, due to my wait for the FCR's and of course the "fun with Dyna" experience! I like seeing her at the front of the garage, ready to ride, not at the back on the lift.
In due time..... |

That particular swing arm swap is a less than one hour job. But if you don't mind, I don't mind.
I sure do wish I had a garage with a lift to work on my bike in now. |

I got a broken pull cable on my blue FCR'd CB1100 Super F today. What a damned drag.
This thread has shown some very nice bikes but I do not think it has shown every one of them yet. Are there anymore modifieds out there waiting for us to see them?? |

OK, I guess I will play. After the Hoot I put my red bodywork back on the bike. I then added Eoro controls. So now my list of mods has grown to include:
Wiseco 1123 kit, degreed cams, Cobra Exhaust, Keihin CR 33mm carbs, Unknown but cool European Rearsets, Ohlins steering damper, K&N Black chrome Superbike bars, Custom handlebar mounted Honda Voltmeter, Dyna 2000 ignition, MSD plug wires, F2 front and F3 rear wheel conversion, Stock front fender lowered, F3 rear brake caliper with custom brake stay, Corbin seat, Progressive Suspension, Braided steel brake lines, Oil temp gauge dipstick, and Garmin 2610 GPS unit. All these mods were done a bit at a time. With a three week winter I do not get time for a winter build.

Thanks Ray, I just returned from a 175 mile ride and got caught in the rain for a bit. She needs a good cleaning but she is not bad for what she is. |

That is what I want to see, those bikes would cause me to break my neck doing the double take.
Call your bikes what you will.
I like the term Super F and that is what my bikes are.
My bikes exist because of stoutblocks "OMT" bike and Blainethemono's single seater "Da Beast" bike. I could not stop myself from making my bikes look and act something like their bikes and now I am almost there.
Super F or modified Super Sport, what ever you want to call it people. You all make me proud to be a part of this site. |

Its nice to be able to change the color anytime, but boy, I really like your black and yellow bodywork, Larry. I know its around someplace and I couldn't find a photo.
I can't remember If I'd seen your great bike either, Ronny. I hope this isn't a pattern now that I'm 60. |

Matt, I cut the grass last Saturday. It has rained every day since. If it goes a whole day without rain I will cut it again. I refuse to ride my John Deere in the rain. I live in a tropical climate but it is a small price to pay. I will let you cut it when you get down here in December. I have a tradition of cutting my lawn and sending a photo to relatives up north every Christmas day!
Luke, thanks for the compliments. I think of it as just another F with a few mods and a continious work in progress. |

jons, here is a photo of the bike in its yellow and black bodywork. That bodywork is safely stashed in a closet.
NO, bulldauq, it is not for sale and never will be until my estate handles it after I am gone. BTW, if you come down for a visit this winter, can you drive a John Deere? That would look good for my Christmas photo. |
