Since my rear springs were-a-saggin (Insert fat joke here) I ordered some new ones from Bike Bandit.
About a week after I ordered them I got an email telling me they were out of stock and they "cross shipped" them to me from a different wherehouse where the springs were and it would only add 1-4 days onto the entire process.... well that was almost two weeks ago.
Anyone else have similar issues with these guys? Aren't they supposed to be right on...? I hope they come early next week... Id like to toss them in for World GP. I wont be as competitive with bad rear springs, afterall... Rolling Eyes

but yea i had a similar problem when i tried to order a new brake caliper seal. i had the caliper apart and order a new seal but then i came back saying out of stock and that they were trying to find it at a different warehouse.

well i went ahead a put the caliper back together with the oil seal and luckly it didnt leak but then about 2 weeks later i got the new seal in the mail Confused

I've only ordered Honda OEM parts from Bike Bandit, but a couple of times I have had the "cross-shipped" deal pulled on me. In fact this happened with an order I placed last week for some head parts.
All in all I don't think it's taken longer than two weeks to get my stuff, usually it takes just about one week.

Bike Bandit orders the parts from Honda (or whatever supplier) when they receive your order. They don't stock anything. So in this conversation let's use Honda as the example for the supplier.

Everything I have received from Bike Bandit has shipped from Southern California (I believe from around San Diego).

So bike Bandit orders from the local Honda distribution point. If the part is available it ships in a few days. If the part is backordered from Honda you get the backordered message and get the part typically in a couple of weeks. The cross shipped thing means the local Honda distribution point did not have it, but the part was located somewhere in the Honda system. The part then is shipped from wherever it resides in the Honda system to the Bike Bandit facility. Then it is shipped to you.

I've never had a cross shipped part not show up. Usually takes a couple of weeks.

Same for me - if I'm on the hunt for OEM parts under $100 they've always done a good job for me.

I just got my order from Chaparral. I ordered it Monday night..late. I just got home and it was sitting on the table. Shipped it slow boat to china, UPS ground. Normaly takes 7 days (not including weekends)...pretty happy with it. Also have ordered from Ant Racing...Didn't like the gloves and I told him, he said keep them and he will send out another pair but bigger...

Never purchased from Bike Barn, Wanted to but the part was out of stock..so I canceled the order.
