bad day

layed the 900f over today at a stop sign in the middle of bfe pennsylvania. went to stop put my foot down and the road itself actually gave out under my foot. good news is the bike is ok(for the most part) but i cant say the same for the turn signals and rotor cover.

That sucks but lucky 750 and 900 rotor covers are (as Ray would say) "a dime a dozen"

What is broken on the signal?

Welcome to the middle of nowhere: no, you can't trust the ground under your feet. Sinkhole, ground saturation, there's always something to make sure life stays exciting. TB

yes very hot day the pavement around here is cheap stuff alot of tar and very little of anything else, it just "squished" under my foot. the front signal is salvagable but the lens is not.... doesnt matter much i wanted to upgrade signals all around anyway.

I know what you mean... here in the subbies of cincinnati they use cheap tar to patch cracks and fill pot holes in the road sometimes its like butter on a 90+ degree day and it just makes a bigger mess then if they just left the damaged road alone Confused

You can get OEM replacement lenses and whole units for cheap at partsnmore.com

Here is a link to the page just scroll down the lenses are $2 each and the whole unit is $10 each... just make sure if you do get the whole unit you make sure you get the correct signal (I.E 2 wire for rear signal or 3 wire for front signal)

I have some spare lens covers that I don't need after changing the signals all the way around. PM me your adress and I'll send you one. You're on your own for the cover though, no spares here.

sorry been away awhile..i said screw the signal because im gettin new ones and the cover has no damage because it sunk right into the road. amazing i thought.
