After lurking in the shadows for awhile and building my "super custom" 81 750C, I picked up a 82 750F today, and its a true basket case, got the rolling chassis at the shop now and pick up the body work tomorrow then I will know what color it is about the only thing I know about the bike is the motor is frozen, so I will be looking for lots of parts before to long but the cost of the bike was in my price range FREE so I guess I'm one of those F'n guys now |

Roy,
Welcome!!! Glad to see we have another F'n Brother out there...
Here is a link to a thread where several F'ers have posted their "projects" over the last year. There are some neat ideas and lists of mods you can do. There are other project threads out there too, so don't stop looking on this one below.

Sounds great... If its just frozen from sitting it could be an easy fix.
With something to penatrate the corosion, and slowly working it loose you can compression test it on the bench and see what you have.
Heat seized pistons and connecting rods are another story entirely.
Good luck with it. |

Here are a couple pics of the 82, like I said before the motor is seized from sitting out side with no carbs or spark plugs in it for over a year, so the motor is coming out for a rebuild, I just need to deside if I want to go stock or build another 823 with 900 cams.
