...although I do think that you should take better care of yourself. And as you can't tinker on yourself, you may have to leave it to the medical profession. You may brush it off now, but believe me, once you go over 50, these little aches can turn into major problems. We all suffer for the sins of our youth once we get older. i had a bad car accident when I was 28 and it affected my left knee and ankle. Never thought much of it. Until now!

I have come to realize that once I turned 40 almost 4 years ago my aches and pains were taking way too long to go away or to even subside enough to get some sleep.
I went and had an X-RAY and it only cost me $125.00 for the doctor to tell me it was a very bad sprain and there was nothing he could do for it.
I took this from a 12 step recovery program I used to roll with;
When the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the fear of change, one will change.
Well I had a thought yesterday and the fear of a bigger medical bill was put on the back burner and I paid for exactly what I knew was gonna happen, nothing.
I am too stubborn sometimes I know but, sometimes my stubbornness pays off and yesterday I wasted $125.00 2nd guessing myself.

Good for you Ray, at least now you know. I have wasted that much at a bar in one night, so it was money well spent.

My 10 year old son fell off the 4 wheeler a few weeks ago and sprained his ankle real bad. It swelled up huge and later turned purple and blue. We took him in after 2 days just to make sure, but the doc found no breaks or cracks. The little shit was on crutches for a week, then back out playing ball. Kids heal very fast.

We do not. I have had some tendonitus in my left elbow since Jan. from a snowmobile accident. I wonder if it will ever heal.

Not to stir the pot, but who got DQ'd on Saturday?
My Z1 blew a fuse in T-9 on the white flag lap and I was able to coast into the pits.
Couldn't find the short, but I pulled the Dyna rev limiter out and wired the hot wire from my Dyna-S right to the battery for Sunday. Not a problem and the stupid fuse never blew. I have to assume the rev limiter took a dump and will send it back for an autopsy.
I stopped by your pit on Sunday on the way out to say so-long but you were out there chasing Limeys.

Al, Ed M. rode his middleweight Ducati in heavyweight, which is "expressly forbidden" by rules. It can only bump to Formula Vintage, not heavyweight superbike. He was so much faster from turn 1 through 6 that after a couple of laps I couldn't stay with him - he'd pull more through those corners than I could pull him on the straights. He had a heavyweight Guzzi but it broke from what I understood. When Tom's CBX broke he asked about riding his CB-500 in heavyweight and got told "NO" after Ed had already done it. (Ed used the old 'ask for forgiveness instead of permission ploy', but after Ed was found out forgiveness wasn't forthcoming...)

I had fun in the Formula Vintage class, but some of those limey bikes are so fast in the corners it's not even funny...
