I'm still busy modifying another leftside footpeg plate, that's why the right side has a modified plate and the left side don't. I had to modify these because i wanted the upswept oval cannister. Have to make something to get the rear pegs back on. Later, this will be done by making totally new rearset plates with higher mount for the rear pegs. The sound is just awesome, and the power is even better. Only thing is i'm having the same problems with the clutch other 1100F owners also have. Will take out the clutch this week to beadblast the steel plates and see if this helps. |

What to come within some weeks:
paint the front rim yellow like the rear, the inside of the front rotors black, the front fender black, the front calipers gold, and raise her ass like she was before, with old Kawasaki shocks. These Showa's are about 1 inch shorter. |

Very, Very sweet. I saw this bike when I was first deciding what I was going to do with mine. Your bike along with others made me realize I was about to go down a long path with mine. And the exhaust looks great!
what bars are you running there? I think you bike would look great with something lower, clip ons maybe?
Also did you weld new shock mounts lower on your frame or just make brackets from the stock holes? |

Wow, that looks really sweet, and I'd bet the new engine pulls even sweeter
The right side footpegs looks really great, could you get some close-up fotos of them? |

To start with:
Thanks for all your compliment guys.
Ray, about the clutch, i read about chattering, what do you and the others mean by chattering?
The following occurs in my case: When i start her up and ride for the first 5 or 10 km there is no problem, the clutch works great. After this, when she at operating temp the problems starts. shifting is hard, i have to shift back when riding because when stand stil, like at a traffic licht she won't even shift, like the clutch plates stick together. When playing a bit she rattles and only then it's possible to shift down or up. I run half synthetic oil, just like i ran on the 900F, i use DOT 5 brake fluid in the clutch. Never had these problems with the smaller heart. The clutch plates are like new!
With the 900F, when i first build the hydraulic clutch i problerms bleeding out the system, but after this was done a few times she worked just great, no problem, feeling was great. Where othe5rs wrote they couldn't dose the clutch, mine worked great.
I have the stock springs in.
Eventhough i started this reply adressed to Ray, ofcourse every input is appreciated. |

Tnx, The tank is a replica R tank, the swingarm came from CBR900RR, and the USD frontforks came from a Kawasaki ZXR400.

The bars are Tommaselli. I prefer these because of the great control i have withe these.
I did weld new mount on the frame, but you can indeed make brackets from the stock mounts. I had a nice pictue showing how to do this but i can't find it anymore
If there are members who like to know howto do this i can make a sketch or drawing. The handling with this improves a lot. Especially when you ride your F fairly agressive like I do your gonna luv this modification. |

I don't know about anyone else, but YES I'm curious to see how you got to where you are with that bike! Always thought of moving shock mounts
Where in the world did you find that replica R tank? and was it reasonable on price?
I understand why you chose the route you did with the handlebars.... they're similar to dirt-bike in apparant geometry, while not the sportiest looking, they DO provide a good feeling of control. |

The TGV, thats the highspeed train, goes from Paris to Amsterdam in 3 hours makes a stop in a town which is only 1 hour away from my hometown. |
