A terribly sad story. I tell ya, she's got some guts though, that's not a ride for me.

I would so love to do that ride with her...if I could keep up!

I liked this line:

The most exciting thing about rides in Ghosttown is to hit a red line on my bike's tacho and break this silence with roar of a wounded dinosaur and then to close throttle and listen how all those ghosts cursing 1100cc kawasaki engin.

She is a great story teller, along with very poignant pictures. She should be hired by national geographic.

First of all, I wanted to say that it is next near to impossible for a reactor (at least here in the USA) to have that kind of critical failure. Three Mile Island was the closest we have come, but with all the safety standards our there for nuclear power, too many systems would have to fail all at once. Second of all, no way in heck would I ride through that area. It might be nice not to see any traffic, but there could still be pockets of radiation. There are still plenty of places in the states that we can go and not see many cars (Montana anyone?) I will give her kudos though, she is braver than I (or crazier) Skreekin

I know that it was the pictures that really got my attention. Especially seeing the photos that were left behind. People that were killed either from not knowing what they were up against, or were evacuated, never to return. Crying or Very sad I find it way more interesting hearing a story from a first person view than hearing it through the news. The news tends to spice it up and make it exciting. I personally want to hear the real story.

People talk about the radiation thing, heck I don't plan on having any more so I am not worried. Besides, she seems to know where to go and not to go.
