Picked this up last week. Seems to need a new voltage regulator, but that should be on my doorstep in a couple of days. Runs great - other than draining the battery. 1980 CB750F. 18,800 miles. Vetter package. AM/FM/Cassette.
This is my return to motorcycle riding after 2 1/2 years. I had a nice new Kawasaki Concours in 2003. After 58 miles of riding, it decided to try to kill me. 7 months out of work, then a year of light duty work. Still have a nice limp and a couple of really cool scars... Anyway, as soon as I get this thing charging properly, I expect to get that mileage up to where it should be for a 25 year old bike. |

Scar tissue what a subject.
Are the scars from stitches or road rash?
I know that limp, I have one that is kind of permenent, it really comes out on damp days in the morning.
Nice bike Jon, have fun with it and no more crashes, no matter what the bike decides. You are the boss and the bike is the subordinate. |

@ Sam36 - Vetter makes a radio kit that bolts right up to a Windjammer fairing. Nice - but I don't think I can put a CD player in it. It bounces too much. Yeah, it can hold a lot of beer. I had my cooler in the trunk the other day - and that holds a 12 pack. Without the cooler, I could probably get at least a case just in the trunk... And still have the saddle bags for the burgers, dogs, and hibachi
@ fasterspider - the scars are from the staples they used to hold me together after surgery. 8" one for the pins in my left hip and a 16" one where they had to almost cut me in half to rebuild my pelvis. Surprisingly I had NO roadrash after tumbling across a gravel driveway and having the bike end up on my head... Denim was a surprisingly good protection from the gravel.... |

Hey Outback_Jon
What spider said NO MORE CRASHES...
They make some CD players that read ahead and will not skip...

Yeah, but with the roads around here (Upstate NY) even the anti-skip ones are pretty taxed. Heck, on some roads, the one in my CAR has problems... Guess its a good excuse to get an MP3 player and find one of my old cassette adapters to run it... |

I love my mp3 player in the truck gets 70 to 100 songs per cd...
