Fella's;
I'd like to get together with some of the other 900F riders in the region. The internet if OK, but doesn't compare with the real thing. So if anyone knows of a yearly, regular, one-time get-together coming up, please notify me.

Well, come to find out, Squatch & I occupy the same remote corner of Montana! Will Cecils never wonder!? - or something like that.
Perhaps we can come up with a game plan.

I was there, where were you? Methinks you're not keeping this site up on the screen as much as you should.

well, well! seems like you got some interest in a ride. ever ride around flathead lake or up into glacier park? hopefully, the highway department can keep the roads in shape for another year. and it isnt too late for a ride now. matt is kinda tied up in a VF750F, and hasnt got much time yet with business still going strong. any interest in coming this way for the testicle festival at rock creek next weekend? |

Yup, I've riden the Flathead area & the Going To The Sun, Looking Glass Pass, several years ago.
Probably can't get over that way anytime soon though, lots of projects to keep me occupied through the rest of the year. Spring, now that's a different story.
Any other Fer's over there? Do you know of any in the Billings area? I was thinking of contacting the Honda shop in Billings to see if there were any bikes still alive in that area.

Would LOVE to go over and have a ball with you. I didn't know it was next weekend..will have to check with the boss. Have been in that area but never rode it. Have been into motorcycles most of my life, but this is my first street bike.
Look forward to any ride with any F'er. CB1025F and I just met yesterday and took a little tour last night...was a blast.
Cheers  |

seems like every time i go over to matt's shop there is at least one CB waiting to be worked on. so i know there are are a few running around. i just never see any on a regular basis. just like i dont see many CB customs running around. and if i do see one, the rider usually isnt too interested in how unique the bike really is. seems like there are only three types of riders around here, harley riders and harley wannabes, guys who only ride what they got cheap and are in the process of trashing the bike they have, or people who have a bike but never ride but once in a great while...like only in really good weather. i am a firm believer in a good set of gloves and some good insulated cover-alls. this ain't southern california |

I hear you on the gloves and overalls, went out yesterday and froze my A*s off, couldn't wipe the smile off my face though.
If you ever get around Jackson there are two 81 cb 900s around always looking to ride, mine and my friends, the friend that convinced me to buy mine.

Ah, good, a couple of 900F's in Jackson. They would never run over to Victor & back just for the helluvit. Maybe down to Dubois for a beer?
And then there's another passion. Anybody ever ski the mushroom chutes?

Well CBJ has a 9 too so there are at least 2 here too.
We are only about 5 hours away from Matt and Rob.
Yesterdays ride to work was a 1'C (~38F) I still havent had to pullout the "KoolRider" yet, but pretty soon I'm sure. |

Cowtown;
And anybody else, for that matter. If we get this thing a-goin, your all most certainly welcome!
Great Falls is about 160 road miles ( Montana state 200 ) from Missoula. No reason why we can't do a ride.
I've GOT to get in contact with the Billings Honda shop & see if there are any classic F's over there.

Yeah..would be pretty cool to have about 20 to 25 F's pull up infront of a Honda shop...all the bikes from Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and of course Canada...I bet we would make the front page of cb1100f.net!!! |
