If I had to have a chopper, this wouldn't be a bad one. |

That is an abomination and the creator/destroyer should be drawn and quartered.
I do not feel well either and that picture is the reason why. |

I like it! But I'm a chopper kind of guy ( as well as being an "F"er, of course) Anything with 2 wheels works for me...! |

Maybe this was a wreck/salvage rebuild? Of all the possible things to do with a CBX engine, this would never make it near the top of my list. |

That is not a CBX anymore. The motor may be a CBX motor, but the bike is retarded looking.
This is one of the versions of CBX that is allowed.

Hey guys. I don't want to piss anyone off but there are purists (totally stock) out there that cringe when they seem some of the things that have been to supersports. Personally I like the creativity that goes into swapping rims, swingarms and front ends. I wish I had the mechanical aptitude to do all that...maybe some day! I think customizing a motorcycle is just another form of expression. It may be different but it doesn't make it BAD. I ride with people not bikes, and some of those bikes I definitely wouldn't own given the chance. If it has two wheels and a motor and can keep up then it's okay by me!
I'll get off my soap box now |

Very well said JohnnyNumbers. I agree 100%. Some people will say never paint it other than a factory color, unless of course I like it and do it myself. Leave it stock but change the wheels, swingarm, front forks, bodywork, and upgrade the motor and ignition. People are all individuals. They all have different likes and dislikes. Nothing is an absolute. Like the pic I posted showing the 1920s-30s era boardtrack racer. A very nice bike but I do not believe Honda expected a 900F motor to be used that way, but it was still nice. |

I own a 750 SOHC rigid bobbed chopper. I like choppers - nice choppers - nice Honda choppers.
This ain't one.
It's a nice job UNTIL who-ever built the exh. pipes got ahold of the bad LSD. Without a doubt some of the fugliest pipes know to the mind of modern man. IMHO |

the SOHC are the most when chopped - these honda's look good when done right & should be the only one's that are
leave the F's alone for now
BTW can we see a pic of your SOHC i've got 2 and i wouldn't part with them
cheers from the land of OZ. |

I think he/she missed a chance.
Should have braided the two sets of pipes.
THAT would be different.
