Actually it is spelled Bol'Dor, I believe. It is the version of the 1100F that the rest of the world got.

They have rearsets instead of regular lattice type peg assemblies, different switch assemblies on the handlebars, gold wheels, different tail piece and grab bars and several other details that I am not sure of. The US spec bike also was the only one that received the front 1/4 fairing.

It is basically the European-Aussie version. Basically what we crave which are the rearsets, controls, gold/silver boomerang wheels, neat paint schemes(some of crave for those paint schemes) are stock over there.

ALL of the non-US bikes got the rearsets and sport-kit stuff we crave in the US - they weren't specific to the Bol D'or versions.

the euro or aussie models also have a sticker on the side cover "Super Bold'or"
i love my gold wheels, colour scheme etc.. but i think i'd like to swap it for an american model....funny that Arrow grass is always greener on the other side.

Remember this post?

Basically, every 'F' other than the US models got what is commonly referred to as 'sportkit' or 'euro' rearsets. Another way to look at it, is that every US 'F' got non-euro rearsets. The riding position on the US bikes was much more upright - made so via higher handlebars, and more forward peg positions. The 'sportkit' was a Hondaline option - details;

AS far as I know there were 750 and 900 versions of BolDor's available in Europe. The BolDor is an endurance race that Honda was cleaning up in during the 77-82 time frame and they released a production model to look the same. These bikes have full fairings, different paint,(see the two tone paint in my avatar, no bags), all the "euro goodies" and almost solo seats, I think the 900's had gold wheels (but the same shape not boomerangs), the 750's had black). Later,('83-84)other parts of the world got "Super BolDor's" which were Euro spec 1100F's, without fairings, and the paint looked almost the same as "regular" execpt the side covers..
that's the way I see it.
