You got new coils? The stock shit has all manner of dead spots. At the spark plug end,the spark plug itself,the wires at the coil ends. Lose a little and it adds up.

Just because it is 70mm bore does not mean the rings will fit. Hardest thing is the oil ring but the rings are a certain thickness also.
On 1100 the oil ring is .098 thick and that has not been mad ... |

I had a 750 once. The carbs have THREE large lift holes in the slides and heavy springs.
900 and 1100 have only two lift holes.
All this makes a difference. |
