i have never actually seen anyone do this conversion. finding a 900 F engine is usually a lot less work. interesting if it is one. Wink

SeanG cleaned up and re-jetted some 1100 carbs to work on my 900. works just fine with them. i really want to see the other side of the bike to see how that shaft drive works. Laughing

Maybe someone did a shaft to chain conversion on it?
not likely. unless someone in this engine's past was a frustrated machinist with LOTS of time. that is a lot more work than you might think.

don't limit yourself to CB900s or 1100s. i seem to recall seeing them on nighthawks too. Maier sells one for universal applications.

which nighthawk? i doubt there is much difference between the 750 F and the 82 or 83 nighthawk, except that the frame is a bit smaller...that may be where the difference is.
