Old gas can lockup injectors too.

Test by spraying some ether into the intake to see if the motor fires. If it does, the problem is fuel delivery related.

I'm envious, having worked on a few. Iconic.

However, I noticed on the bike with HRC on the fairing, the front rotors are reversed.
I'm certain you'll get to that.

Depending on the model (I don't know which) some had a black bezel but most had chrome.

The upper third of the oil filter housing is always an air pocket but it doesn't effect the oil pressure at startup.

There are a couple of ways to eliminate this air if you want to prevent oil foam ...
