When I first bought the bike, it needed some TLC. Eventually
found out a bad noise to be a burnt valve and ended up doing an engine rebuild
and replacing the head (due to being warped, suspecting bad maintenance from
previous work) at 36,000 miles (current mileage 46,000 miles). The only 900
head I could find was painted silver, I was going to paint it but decided that
it gave it a different look by leaving it the same color. The paint job was
trashed, so I repainted it myself. As far as mods go: shortened handlebars,
Vance & Hines 4-1 exhaust, K&N filter, smaller turn signals, chopped the rear
pegs and painted them. I also found a speedo that goes up to 150 mph (Not an
easy task).
