    Details

      Other information on this brochure:

In case you didn't know the letters after the "F" denotes the model year, ie:

      CB900F -Z = Z means 1979
      CB900F -A = A means 1980
      CB900F -B = B means 1981
      CB900F -C = C means 1982
      CB900F -D = D means 1983

and that is all there was.

I think the CB900 was introduced to the USA in 1981-2 and you would have got the CB900F-A or F-B and then the C and D model.

I know your handlebars are higher than ours and ours is of the "clip-on" type and in 1982 we got a change of wheels as you will see in the next brochure you will get and thicker forks with anti-dive brakes and a rubber mounted engine which the 1982 C-model was the first to have a black engine.
