personally i like riding on really overcast days, firstly cos the sun never gets in ya eyes, and secondly cos it tents to be cooler than it usually would be, which makes the bike run nicer with teh cooler air (cold air induction!). and i tend to concentrate better when im freezin my ass off
tho that said - a perfect warm clear sunny day comes along and i cant help but run outside and take my 900 for a spin |

i know ill probably be lynched for admiting it - but my 900 doens't have any garage or anything to go in - i live in a little flat, and the bike has to stay outside all the time - i have a bike cover, but those times when im not home, or get home and it rains and ithe bike is to hot to cover straight away means it gets wet quite often.
havent seen a real lot of rust tho - i think the headers are missing any kind of paint whatsoever so they get nice and rusty, but other than that its not too bad. The evil watermarks rain leaves everywhre is annoying as heck tho! |

i'm in the same boat, i used to have a garage, i had a house fire a few years back and had to move. so know my bike lives under a cover. and no matter how good the cover is, water still finds its way in, it's killin me! |
