This 1983 Honda CB1100F Super Sport (Canadian / Euro model) has been freshly restored by dB Customs, with its amazing blue and white euro paint scheme and iconic gold comstar wheels. THIS is the bike that started my love for everything Honda CB-F's, I'll never forget the day I first saw it at the age of 13.
The immaculate paintwork was laid down by Sketchs Ink of Ottawa Ontario. Approximately 85% of the bike has been restored by either reconditioning of its original components or by replacing with brand-new OEM pieces. The balance of the bike (such as the forks, chain guard, mirrors, and gold wheels) were an 8.5 out of 10 (or better) condition and were left untouched as they presented extremely well with very little patina.
The list on this bike is very large as follows:
Chassis
Fresh powder coated frame with all new steering neck bearings;
Brand new OEM battery box;
Fresh powder coated side and center stands with new springs;
Suspension and Seat
OEM TRAC front forks;
New OHLINS rear shocks;
Freshly powder coated swingarm in correct color along with new shock rubber mounts and new pivot shaft needle bearings;
New Daytona cozy seat from Japan (all new seat, not just a cover);
Brakes
Rebuilt front and rear master cylinders with new sight glass in the front brake reservoir;
New OEM front brake lever;
New front and rear EBC brake pads;
Resurfaced rear brake rotor;
New Spiegler braided brake lines and banjos;
Wheels, Tires, Chain and Sprockets
Gold Comstar wheels with new Metzeler Roadtec Tires (sizes 140/80-17 69V Rear and 100/90-18 56V Front);
New DID 530 chain and Sunstar front and rear sprockets;
Electrical and Controls
Complete brand new wiring harness;
New fuse relocation kit;
New coil relay modification kit (provides full 12V to coils);
New starter solenoid and rebuilt starter motor;
New voltage regulator / rectifier;
New charging stator;
New genuine OEM left hand switch control;
New OEM gauge indicator lens;
Powder coated gauge faceplate;
New AGM battery and battery cables;
New front and rear turn signals;
New OEM clutch lever and clutch cable;
Powder coated clip-on handlebars with new OEM grips;
Sport kit rearset plates ceramic coated and tumble polished;
Engine, Carburetion, Ignition, and Exhaust
Fresh 1123cc Wiseco forged piston CB1100F (SC11) engine (set to zero deck);
1982 Honda CB1100R cylinder head (mildly ported) with new viton seals;
CB1100F camshafts with slotted sprockets degreed to 100/105 (int / ex);
All new OEM seals and o-rings;
CB1100F crank (polished journals), rods, and transmission;
All new or freshly replated engine case and cover bolts;
All new yellow coded crank main and rod bearings;
Cometic RCS head and base gaskets;
Oversized oil pickup;
Vince & Hyde Racing cam chains, front guide, and rear AHM style manual tensioner ;
Yoshimura TMR-MJN carbs with velocity stacks (new OEM intake insulators);
New Hindle 4-2-1 stainless steel exhaust;
Dyna 2000 Ignition with 2.2 ohm coils;
New Yamaha R6 starter clutch conversion;
New EBC clutch pack with new genuine Honda OEM steel clutch plates;
Cylinder head cover, left and right side covers ceramic coated and tumble polished. |

My bad...where did you get this bike Darren? Those wheels look amazing! Are they the original finish? Do you have the odo zeroed? This bike is better than what came out of the factory 41 years ago! Amazing!
Cheers!
