Hi fellas, Nic from Texas here. I was really not looking to add another fine machine to my stable (yeah right..) but I finally got me 1983 CB1100F yesterday...on New Year's Day. Bike was posted right before midnight the 31st...saw it around 2am while enjoying a variety of adult beverages with friends and told myself "if the bike is still listed when I wake up, I'll contact the seller" LOL
And there she was. I have always liked these and I'm thinking this one was for me. I actually brought it home today; it's raining pretty hard here but I promise I'll get better pics later on.
I don't have any immediate plans for it but just ride it, weather permitting. I'm lucky to own some other interesting bikes of the same era and this was a nice addition to the collection.
The 1100F is not 100% original but it's a looker for sure and a nice runner. Previous owner purchased the bike 7 years ago and did a good job taking care of areas in need of attention, one at the time. Bike came with a few spares parts and most likely I'll be offering them in the upcoming weeks in case anybody is looking for something.

Welcome to the CBF site. Your F looks to be in fine shape which makes up for it being the slower blue model

Welcome to the site! I see that you are close to Navasota. Every April a bunch of friends ride from KY to Navasota. This year is April 28-30. Let me know if you are interested. |
