Hello All,
I wanted to introduce myself after lurking for a few months. I have gotten back into motorcycling after a long absence. I rode my dad's '66 CL160 back as a kid and a few Suzuki and Honda dirt bikes back in the 80's. I also had a '77 CB750F for a short while. A few accidents on the dirt bikes made me put them away and then sell off. I now have recently purchased a 1980 CB750F that is cosmetically pretty nice but needs mechanical and maybe engine work. I've put a couple hundred miles on it over the last few months. Unfortunately I have been working out a lot of issues the PO did not disclose and fixing some of his attempted repairs. I've learned so much from all the smart F'ers here and I am going to need more help as the bike isn't quite there yet. Looking forward to interacting and contributing.

Welcome to the site, Andy! I'm just a bit south of you, in Ct, what part of Mass are you in? We have several accomplished F'ers in the Bay State, and you'll find a welcome here, along with more advice than you ever thought possible, LOL. Will happily help you get your issues sorted, and hope to see some pics of your bike soon. We like pictures, here... |

Welcome to the site, Andy.
Amazing how many times we read about sketchy dealings from the previous owner.
Either failure to disclose or bad repairs.
I have a '66 CB160 that is still a blast to ride. |
