After a year or so after moving and then sitting on my patio, I finally made room in my garage for my poor old 900F. Now I can work on it and get it running decent again.

I'm posting photos because I have never put any of my bike up previously.

Poor old F???!!!!!

Looks pretty damn good to me.

Where are all of you getting the different type of throttle body? I don't like how mine comes out under the bar, not out the side/top like yours.

The throttle block pictured is part of the Sport Control Kit. Note that the footpegs are a litle further back and higher than a "standard" F.

The purpose of the "top-exiting" throttle cables is to avoid hitting and damaging the fuel tank when using a lower handlebar.

Looks great. Don't scratch the Cougar getting her in and out of the garage!

I'm more afraid of the Cougar reaching over and scratching the Honda.......

Hi your bike is very nice,i had a red/white cb900fc a few years ago with the same fairing, the fairing is a big help to keep the wind and the rain off.
here is a picture of a 900 i built in the spare room 10 years ago,the wife was away when i took this, but i did email the photo to her with it in the lounge!

That's some real nice pics of your 900.
I see your original owner as well. Was it the silver/blue paint scheme?
I bought mine new in 81, but never did get the sport kit as I wanted. At the time, I remember the kit was something like 300.00 or more. A lot of money in '81.
We should do a ride sometime since your relatively close.

You are one of the bravest men I know Keith. I would only try this if I was tired of life.
