Joined this site back in Mar'06. Saw a bunch of characters come and go. Haven't been around over the last few years. But I see from the "Last Posted" column that many of you are still here. HELLO, hope all is well.

What brings me back is unfortunately related to what kept me away. Bad track day accident...traumatic brain injury (DAI)...10 days in ICU...2 months of hospital living before I could walk... but I'm on this side of the dirt
Enough on that, but bikes unfortunately must become a thing of the past for me.

I will be listing them over the next few weeks or after the holidays.
What I have is (in various upgrades/repairs/hey how about this's...) my new to me in 1981 CB900F. It currently is a FCR carbed OMT piped 1100F with relatively fresh black paint (bike, not motor) and has always been garaged. So it doesn't have a ton of oxide'd aluminum on it.

I also have the Super F roller: 750 frame, GSXR USD forks grafted up front, CBR900RR Pro-link single shock grafted to the rear end, wheels tires...just needs a motor bolted in and taken out to the track.

And,... there is a little pocket rocket roller frame, that the CB-F tailpiece and seat happen to fit on. The gauges on the bike even had to old mickey mouse gauge set look.

So, up for sale soon will be:
[/list]a pretty clean stock-ish 900F bike that runs really strong
a "hey wait a minute that's an early 80's...but they didn't have..." Super F roller
a mini F (the pocket rocket) makes for a neat collection of F bikes: a stocker, a Super F, and mini-F

There is also lots of other stuff...canadian model tail piece, race OMT pipe with an according to what I was told a special Kaz built silence for one the California track regs, an unused Ignitech ignition, gsxr (I think) flat slides, cleaned functioning stock carbs

Anyway, Happy Holidays, and if any of you that may remember me have an interest in something I might/probably have... contact me. Otherwise I will try to get some pictures posted soon.

I'm new to the site, but I have come across some of your posts in searching for info. So sorry to hear about your accident and how it has effected something that your are clearly passionate about. I wish you well during your continued recovery, and hope that you find another "thing" to channel your energies.

So sorry to hear about your accident and serious injuries! I'm glad to hear you're doing better and hopefully you've resumed a relatively normal life. When a regular poster from the group suddenly drops off the radar, we often never know what happened. Now we know where you've been. Stay well!

80mph high side coming out of turn 2 at Carolina Motorsports Park, an Arai that broke.
bike was fine, would have passed tech inspect for the next round...
rider not so good, $55,000 helicopter ride from a track that is 45 minutes outside if town via car...
brand new this year riding suit looks like a tanned deer hide after they cut me out of it...

But as I said at least I am on this side of the dirt. Apparently 90% of people that experience a DAI are on the under side of the dirt.. Proof the God watches out for those that can't take of themselves.

Tanks all for the replies
